Job Overview

Our client is one of the largest Hospitality and Leisure concerns in South Africa. They are seeking 3 Area Hospitality Trainers (Drakensberg, Cape Central and Cape Garden Route) who has in depth knowledge and experience of Standard Operating Procedures within a 4-5 star property. The ideal applicant must have excellent Project Management skills who can work independently.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma / Degree in Hospitality Management
  • Speak Zulu or Sotho
  • 4 Years’ experience at Management Level
  • Working experience in Hospitality
  • Advanced Computer Skills
  • Opera, Micros System would be advantageous
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Available to travel when required

 

Key Performance Areas:

  • Training on hospitality service standards through theory and practical techniques
  • Identify skills gaps and formulate standard operating procedures
  • Communicate to management current and expected service standards
  • Compile constructive, strategic and detailed reports for management
  • Be supportive in quality control and asses the gaps and formulate corrective actions
  • Incorporate customer centricity into a training methodology
  • Monitor compliance of standard operating procedures
